2003 The Democrats Blocked President Bush’s Oversight Agency Regulation of Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac. In 2005 The Democrats again repeated their Blocking of S.190 co-sponsored by John McCain. The passage of these two regulations, would have prevented the Democrats from bilking the credit system and predatory overextension to people who could not possibly have made the monthly mortgage payments.
