Roger, I fell in love with your writing when you described a flecks of spittle spewing man shouting "Barbeque the Quayle" over and over as if it were a briliant bit that somehow didn't register with the listener the first time around" a fine eye for satire is a gift not so many have these days, so glad we didn't lose that!! These partisan yahoos above needs to school theyselfs a bit better.5061934 on Sep 18, 2009 Sign in to report as inappropriate
I thought there would never be another president that was a bigger liar than Bill Clinton, but Barak Obama tops him. How many times does a person have to listen to this president lie, before he explodes? How much coverage did you give when: Harry Reid called George Bush a liar, or John Kerry's and Murtha's comments about our troops. You're a biased gov't. I have been reading Roger Simon's columns for most of my adult life. Used to be in the LUBBOCK AVALANCHE JOURNAL, Lubbock, TX. Now it is on a rare occasion that it is printed down here in west Texas. He has written some of the most touching, true, honest articles I have ever read! Clipped them and saved them before this "Age Of Electronics" came about. So..nh37, how can you not see the professionalism and great journalism in this man? What are you-age 12?nh37 on Feb 19, 2009 Sign in to report as inappropriate
Kudos to Roger Smith on Judd Gregg. Glad I'm not the only one who thought Gregg was like Alice in Wonderland when he got to DC. Only relief is that the unqualified Bonnie Newman won't be give the opportunity to screw things up. Dean of Students and making sure the white house is dusted and the heating bills are paid do not a Senator make. What a joke!catchnre on Oct 16, 2008 Sign in to report as inappropriate
This Simon fellow is an embarassment to the free press. He writes like he's talking to a buddy in his living room; his personal agenda is central to his reporting. I am upset to think I actually read his take on tonight's debate. Typically I read for enlightenment. This was merely the ranting of a self-absorbed fool taking cheep shots at a man who, winner or not, is a hero. Simon is a disgrace to journalism.Pages: 4 — « First ‹ Previous 1 2 3 4 Next › Last »
