    There a lot of pigheaded idiots out there; they shout the loudest, control the most and help the least.

    Orthodoxy -- the unswerving devotion to a certain set of beliefs -- is a continual and all-pervasive social ill; it drives a multitude of problems, from tribalism and xenophobia, to religious intolerance, to political hypocrisy. We need to figure out why and what we can do about it. Or, at least how we can mock it.
