I am a novice and am just learning to blog. I have a wealth of information on corrupt La. Poitics, not yet sure how much I will share. For now I will express my view legal news, legal updates, funny expressions and things my kids do and say, how I manage (barely ) to be the best mom I can (i have a deaf daughter and she… (more) had two triplet sister die, As time passes I will add much of what I have written on their lives and deaths. Some poetry sad, humrous , thinking, writig, typing outloud (dangerous for a mom with ADHD, but if I can help one mom or a lawyer then I will be happy. I have gained priceless and invaluable info from these blogs, many thanks to Raymond Ward and "the new Legal Writer- I am doing a lot of appellate work lately(hired post trial) so his info has really guided me in the right direction. I hope to join a group of moms and a group of lawyers, recently divorced moms, single parent moms. Hopefully in time as I become more comfortable I will begin to give readers the day to day data I collected working for elected offcials over the past 17 years as the chief asst. DA. Cases that went terribly wrong, the efforts a few others and I made to ensure that the NOT GUILTY and the innocent do not/did not go to prison based on a good prosecutors wrongful convition. Prosecutors take a case to trial, if you beleive the victim and persuade the the jury that the "alleged" victim is being truthful you win your case. When the defendant has a defense attorney who does nothing to win the casse and you (hypothetically ) learn months later that the victim was lying? Oh the moral and ethical nightmares. WHEN IS ENOUGH ENOUGH? When you tell the higher ups that you think you may have convicted an innocent man, when you are told you will be fired if you don't let it go" when you give this info to the man's defense attoreny and he DOES NOTHING ABOUT IT, when you are asked to falsify federal grant money applications. Bottom line I had enough I walked out, more later (less)
