lalate (pronounced “L.A. late”) news is the fastest growing celebrity news website today.
Only two weeks old, lalate news today reported it had nearly a half a million visitors last weekend, establishing lalate as America’s fastest growing celebrity news site.
lalate news (http://news.lalate.com) is pulling in… (more) readers in records numbers for a 2 week old news site largely in part to its use of an innovative way to report on celebrities it calls “fresher, edgier, faster, more positive, and to the point.” lalate reports stories faster than other news sites, generally either breaking stories itself or being one of the first few to explode stories seconds after they emerge. And lalate has the numbers to prove it.
When it formally launched on August 27, lalate news immediately ranked the 24th celebrity news site on Google out of 50 million results. In just seven days, lalate jumped to top 10, ahead of Access Hollywood and People Magazine, and trailing only Hollywood Reporter, MTV/VH1, Perez Hilton, TMZ, and E! Online, respectively. It has remained in that position generally ever since. On Alexa, lalate news premiered as the 8th million most trafficated website. While celebrity news sites generally take 6 to 18 months to jump into the top 100,000, lalate did it in two weeks. Last Saturday, lalate jump to the 57,000, and in doing clocked the highest trafficated reach of an American national nightlife site ahead of Clubplanet.com and Clubvibes.com.
Last weekend, even lalate’s preview site, that only carries headlines of its articles, not the complete articles themselves, ranked in the top 10 of 1.5 million blogs on Google-owned Wordpress.com, with one lalate feed ranking number 3 for the entire company. lalate news now ranks in the top handful of sites on every major entertainment blog ranker, including Blogtoplist (No. 5) and TopBlog Area (No. 5).
