One must try to reduce the sweat as it lessens the growth of bacteria. There are many ways to do so. Always wear clean socks and keep on changing your socks. Apply an anti-bacterial soap, which kills the bacteria present. Keep the socks exposed to air so that the sweat in the socks gets evaporated. Avoid using boots that… (more) fully cover the feet. Use cotton made socks so that they absorb the sweat fully and leave no sweat for the bacteria to feast upon.
Due to their position and function, feet are exposed to a variety of potential infections and injuries, including athlete's foot, bunions, ingrown toenails, Morton's neuroma, plantar fasciitis, plantar warts and stress fractures. In addition, there are several genetic conditions that can affect the shape and function of the feet, including a club foot or flat feet.
On the evolutionary ladder, humans are the first mammals to walk completely upright. Thus the entire weight of the body is distributed over two feet, instead of four. Larger feet are known to give improved posture, balance and avoid back problems. (less)
