I'm a poet and also a fiction and nonfiction writer. I conduct writing workshops for emerging and intermediate writers. I proudly serve on the board of Carolina Wren Press, which seeks new voices and new audiences -- especially those writers who are part of a marginalized population. I believe stories must be told in order for us to experience life fully.
