Innobook,一个封闭制作、开放发布和分享PDF的平台,基于Wordpress 2.3后台搭建,于2007年10月底正式上线运营。
你可以将Innobook理解为Innovational + Book,意为创新型的书籍分享平台。或者也可以理解为In No… (more) Book,没有纸质书的成本高企、传播缓慢等问题,以PDF格式文档快速传播。
我们鼓励大家独立创作、集体汇编、翻译分享,通过Innobook平台,以PDF的形式将电子书即时传播,在造福他人的同时实现自我价值。我们也欢迎大家踊跃下载、静心阅读、学以致用,在汲取甘露之余将Innobook推荐给家人朋友。
Innobook目前不是一个商业项目,页面中的所有广告均为公益广告或出于慈善目的。我们并不承诺Innobook会一直保持非盈利状态,但我们承诺即使Innobook盈利,也将会把大部分收入投入到公益事业中,特别是文化交流和促进领域。
为了保证Innobook能够持续、健康的运行,我们希望:

Innobook, co-founded by Xinyu Mao, Anbudangche and Jia Liu, was launched in late October, 2007. Kitty Wang joined in as the fourth team member in early 2008. It is a free Chinese e-book publishing and sharing platform. In cooperation with Yeeyan, five e-books have been translated in Chinese and now free to download (25,000+ downloads so far) on Innobook, including Personal Branding (William Arruda), Next Generation Media: The Global Shift (by Richard Adler), The Bootstrapper’s Bible (by Seth Godin), Advertising 2.0 (by Paul Beelen), What is Social Media (by Antony Mayfield) under Creative Commons 2.5 license.
Currently, the platform is operated in a non-profit manner contributing to Chinese readers by providing valuable free e-books and charity projects such as Red Pencil Plan through placing free advertisements both on the homepage and in the e-books.
Innobook is working hard on e-books’ quality and quantity to enhance its influences within the Chinese Internet world. Future partners and advertisers are welcomed to contact the team regarding any cooperation opportunities.
