Director at HellerNetWorks, specialists in Small Business SEO and Treatment Center Marketing; and Desert Marketing Group, focused on Website Marketing, Traffic and Content Generation. Both firms are based in Palm Springs, Ca. As architect and founder of the original SoberRecovery.com, I was part of a team that received commendations from City, State and National agencies for our use of the Internet to deliver services and support to the mentally ill, addicts and alcoholics, their families and friends. It began as a single page in September of 2001, and by early 2006 SoberRecovery had grown to 500,000 pages viewed by over 10,000 visitors every weekday. Our online community had 35,000+ registered members, and 20 amazing full-time volunteer moderators. We were supported by 15 contracted sponsors/advertisers. I had to walk away in mid-2006, and I've returned to writing and reporting while maintaining a small, exclusive base of clients as a Traffic, Content and Marketing Consultant.
