The Bay Area Argentine Tango Association was founded in 1992. It is the oldest largest group to promote the art of Argentine Tango on the West Coast. Today, the Association works with a community of over 600 tangueros as a central clearing house. BATango’s focus is on providing education through scholarships, workshops, along with assisting in bringing dancers and musicians from Argentina to teach and perform.
