  • Promoting awareness of the need for active preservation of Varina district's historic heritage, both rural and cultural. Designed to keep residents involved with Henrico County's "2026 Comprehensive Plan". The Comprehensive Plan suggests 'land use designations' which would change our district from a rural and rural-suburban area rich in four centuries of history, directly to a network of new urban developments without any known preservation planning. We need green-infrastructure planning and plans for cultural, historic, and agricultural preservation- come lend us your voice or an ear. Pass the word! 'Historic Varina' invites content concerning 'all things Varina' in Henrico County, Virginia.
