  • OSTI, a part of the Office of Science within the U.S. Department of Energy, makes research results and science information freely available to the public. We do this through a suite of special online tools (Key Resources) developed and maintained at our facility in Oak Ridge, TN. OSTI coordinates the DOE Scientific and Technical Information Program (STIP), a complex-wide collaboration of create, collect and share scientific and technical information. STIP ensures that DOE scientific and technical information is publicly available and maintained in a central collection. OSTI leverages Strategic Alliances to provide research information of interest to the Department in a wide range of scientific disciplines. OSTI provides stewardship of the Department's 60+ year legacy of scientific and technical research results. You can find research results and science information from the Manhattan Project to the present, download documents, view energy citations, discover patents and e-prints, read about ongoing research projects and amazing accomplishments, search science confererence proceedings and software, and connect to U.S. and global science portals.
